What's up guys, it's been awhile. I really haven't been home except to eat, sleep, and shower. It's intense, I know.
Anyways, I've had so much I would have liked to blog about, but right now, I'm going to say something that will make you angry. Why? Because I don't give a rat's whiskers whether or not you get angry. Point is, I have a question, and I would like to get an answer. It's a question none of us want to ask, but a valid question.
If a man and a woman is normal, but now a man and a man are getting to be normal, what's stopping a man and a dog from getting married?
If you say that it's because there's no love, then please, let's define love. I'd say a good definition of love is someone caring about another so much they would die for them. Is that a good definition? Well, I've certainly heard of dogs sacrificing their lives for their owners, and we already know humans are capable of love.
Is it because there's a language barrier? Love conquers all, and everyone shows their love differently.

I absolutly agree, a friend of mine and I were just discussing that, everytime they allow something new, the world gets worse, people do not realize what they are doing.

ReplyDeleteI disagree with you on that, I would die for anyone if I could take their place. If I had the chance to take death away from anyone, I would. Because if I did have that chance and I gave it up, I would feel horrible for the rest of my life. I couldn't live with the fact that they died and I did nothing to prevent it. I would die for you, Zak. I would die for a complete stranger whom I've never met. I'd die for my friends and family. I'd die for a child that I don't know, I'd die for ANYONE if I could take their place.
And the reason why it's wrong to have a man and a man or a woman and a woman or even a man and a dog is because marriage needs to be kept sacred between a man and a woman.
And here we go, I'll even throw in Scripture which is something nobody likes to hear for an argument because 'it's not a good excuse since gays don't believe in the Bible.'
Romans 1:26-32 Clearly states that it's wrong.
So anyway, those are my thoughts.
Ridiculous is not an argument. Homosexuality used to be "ridiculous". I want thought please, not stock answers.

ReplyDeleteI think it’s stupid to have the ability to marry a man with a dog. I mean, if we allow stupid things like that to happen, pretty soon we’ll be worshiping cows like in India (Of course I’m talking about Hinduism, but you know what I mean.) Yes, it’s ridiculous, but that’s not why it‘s wrong. It’s because if we keep allowing dumb things like this to happen then we’ll just be spiraling down hill in our stupidity. Look at all of the dumb laws that have been passed in the last few years; ‘Women must obtain written permission from their husbands to wear false teeth ‘or ‘horses are forbidden to eat fire hydrants in Marchshalltown, Iowa.’ Or what about this one, ‘Pharmacists may not sell gunpowder to cure headaches‘? In Lexington, Kentucky it’s illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your pocket. In Greene, New York it’s illegal to eat peanuts and walk backwards on the sidewalk when a concert is on.
Word, I agree that it's stupid. But a long time ago, gay marriage was thought to be stupid too. So in a few hundred years, will inter-species marriage become legal too?

I don't really care if someone and their dog get married. As long as nothing happens that both parties aren't okay with. I mean, as long as they are both happy, what's wrong there?

ReplyDeleteit's considered wrong because the point of marriage/mating is to continue the species. you don't see other species co-mingling, so to speak. no offspring can come of that, if you want to get darwinistic about the matter. i'm assuming that being married to an animal would mean the person would be having sex with the animal, which is actually considered animal abuse.
ReplyDeleteit's possible to love an animal without feeling the need to get married to it. isn't caring for it enough? would one really have to go as far as to marry it? pets aren't capable of the intensity of human emotions. yes they're loyal, perhaps they'll do anything for their owner, but the entire spectrum of animal emotion is completely different from ours. it has nothing to do with what "society" thinks, there's no big conspiracy behind it all. it's just out and out unnatural.
